WHERE TO STAY IN BALER

Several accommodations dot the stretch of Sabang Beach but expect that the rates are a bit higher because they’re located in the main hub of the town. Backpacker lodges, mid-range to high-end resorts are available. There are also inns and lodges in the town center that are 3-5 minutes away from Sabang Beach.

Much like how artists are commissioned to do artworks, the kind chef was tasked to create a menu that nourishes as well as inspires. With years of experience catering to high profile clients, from who’s who of show business to the residents of the presidential palace, Chef Vince took on the challenge and came up with Café Tan-Aw.

Chef Vince has done pretty good work in the kitchen having a hand at developing the menus for Red Garlic Bistro, Krave Restobar, Torch Restaurant, and Peppermill Restaurant and Mixology Bar.Through all his ventures, he’s relied solely on his penchant for flavors and innate talent to bring together tastes to create unique sauces that are really the tour de force of his cooking.

Just like any other destination in the country, Baler has numerous restaurants to choose from that offer, aside from good meals, unique dining experience. During our visit, we were able to try the following restaurants: KUSINA LUNTIA, Yolly’s Seafood, and Baler Surfer Grill.

Further into the discussion we tackled on what an information literate individual is and I think that it is someone who can differentiate facts from opinions or fake news and utilize information fluently and responsibly. (Cagas,2017)

2nd Day || Wednesday In our 2nd meeting, our teacher further clarified for us the previous terms we discussed and elaborated on the definitions provided. We moved on with our next topic which was a set of questions that will help us build a "Framework" on what journalism is and how we usually outline our goal or article.  In this format, I realized that it would be of great help when we utilize outlines such as this when we are journalists or aiming to become one. This greatly helps our way of seeing how our topic forms and organizes our ideas to become more concrete and transparent to what we truly want to do. Finally, after we have finished our activity, we proceeded with discussing Edmodo's policy and other forms of policies such as copyright and creative commons.
